Design Your Vision Map: Where Are You Headed?
“You can’t lead a movement if you don’t know where you’re going.”
Let me take you back to a moment in my entrepreneurial journey…
I was running my freight transportation business, generating seven figures in revenue.
From the outside, it looked like everything was up and to the right.
But on the inside?
“What am I even doing anymore?”
Despite the money, I had lost my sense of meaning.
And let’s be honest—we’ve all been there.
That head-scratching moment when the checks are clearing, but your soul feels empty.
The grind continues, but your heart doesn’t know why.
And that’s when I knew:
It’s not momentum I was missing. It was a map.
The 10X Visioneering Map Changed Everything
To get back on track, I walked myself through what I now teach as the 10X Visioneering Map—a tool I use to help legacy-driven leaders reconnect with their purpose and build a vision worth following.
“Write the vision and make it plain… that he may run who reads it.” – Habakkuk 2:2
This process helped me stop spinning and start building—on purpose, with peace, and with perspective.
🔍 What Is the 10X Visioneering Map?
It’s not a dream board. It’s not a business plan.
It’s a framework that helps you own your direction, design from identity, and lead from clarity.
Here are the five core parts of your map:
🧭 1. Mission
What is the big assignment on your life?
What do you want to have accomplished in your lifetime?
This isn’t about achievements—it’s about assignment.
🧑🏾🤝🧑🏼 2. Management
Who are you called to serve, lead, and build with?
Your team, clients, investors, and partners should align with the mission.
The quality of your results is connected to the quality of your people.
🏢 3. Model
What business vehicle will carry your vision forward?
What will your offers look like? How will you structure, deliver, and grow impact?
🌍 4. Movement
What transformation will you create in people, industries, or culture?
This is the heartbeat of your empire. What message, cause, or shift are you championing?
📏 5. Measure
What does legacy success look like in 3–5 years?
Revenue? Peace? Impact? Relationships?
If you don’t measure it, you can’t multiply it.
🧠 What Changes When You Use the 10X Visioneering Map?
When you get crystal clear about your vision, everything begins to shift:
Your thinking becomes more creative and possibility-driven.
Your innovation becomes focused and aligned with purpose.
Your decisions become faster and more effective.
Your communication becomes magnetic and mission-driven.
Your results start to reflect your identity—not just your hustle.
Clarity isn’t about control—it’s about confidence. Vision shows you what to say "yes" and "no" to.
✅ Big Ideas to Take With You
Big Idea 1: Vision clarifies the direction—before strategy defines the how.
If you don’t know where you’re headed, you’ll fall for every distraction.
Big Idea 2: Your vision is spiritual and strategic.
It’s not just for a whiteboard. It’s a decision filter and team compass.
Big Idea 3: Vision is the root of legacy.
Without it, you can’t steward your time, team, or influence effectively.
🪜 Final Thoughts: Don't Build the Wrong Legacy
“I don’t want you to climb the ladder of success—only to discover you built it against the wrong wall.”
You’ve got to check-in often with who you are and why you’re building.
If you ever wake up feeling unmotivated, overwhelmed, or out of alignment, walk through your 10X Visioneering Map again. Anchor your next steps in clarity—not just effort.
